You may have to set up a new ticket or sponsorship level for an event.

How to get there:

  • Login to your Wizevents account.
  • Click on the Registrations Forms tab.
  • Locate the event you'd like to make changes to. On the same line, under the actions column, hover over the three dots and choose form setup.
  • Click Manage Sessions (tickets & questions) from the tabs on the left.
  • On the same line, under the actions column, hover over the three dots and choose edit tickets.

What to do:

Click on the Add Ticket button.

Add the additional ticket types that you are offering along with the name, description of what is included, pricing, position on the form, and quantities.  Tickets Types can be for sponsorships, sponsor packages that include tickets, attendee tickets only, general donation field.

For each ticket you create:

  • Select “Don’t ever ask for Attendee Names” if attendee names do not need to be collected for this ticket.
  • Select “Registrant enters amount?” if the ticket is being used as a general donation option and the registrant or donor should be able to enter any donation amount.

Set the minimum and maximum ticket quantities that will appear in the registrant’s dropdown menu. For example, setting the range to 1–10 allows the registrant to select up to 10 tickets. The selected quantity will be multiplied by the ticket price to calculate the total cost.

If the ticket represents a group package sold for a single fixed price, enter the number of tickets included in the package as both the minimum and maximum values. For example, setting both fields to 5 will provide a package of 5 tickets for one fixed price. In this case, the system will not multiply the ticket price by the number of tickets in the package.

Once you have created your tickets, you can create optional questions,  such as seating and meal preferences or space to include the ad copy for a journal, by clicking on the Custom Questions tab from the left hand menu and choose Add Question. You must select which tickets should ask each of your questions.

Questions can be:

Text Field, Text Box, Date Field, Email field, Multiple Choice, Section Heading.

Multiple Choice questions can be: Radio Button, Check Boxes, Drop Down, Quantity Drop Down.

Questions can be asked per registration on the check out page or per attendee on the attendee collection page.

(You can also copy an existing ticket, and then make changes to it, by hovering over the 3 dots under the actions column and clicking copy. The copied ticket will display at the bottom.)

Then, click Save to maintain your changes, or Discard to cancel your changes.
